Compiled is a list of the top seven books I’ve read that have changed. my life. My o
A truly inspiring book. It talks about being mentored by two father’s. One with a good job as a teacher and one who runs his own business. The book starts off while Robert the writer is still on his young teens. It goes on to teach us about assets and liabilities and how we determine which is which. It shows us why the man with a good job as a teacher struggles and as the rich man who owns a business continues to find more free time to do the things he loves for me this book was a mental shift. Whiting my thoughts from spending what I have into Investing in money making assets.
Some of these books I need to reread. This one talks about. You guessed it. The one thing. It talks about being productive and talks about your focus. The book breaks down the 80/20 rule in that. If you focus on the 20% you’ll become far more productive and attain your goals. What is the one thing that you could do right now that would produce the most
Money People Deal – Stefan Aarnio
A break book on a young man who became a millionaire. He talks about his life and his struggle of getting into real estate. He talks about his.life in a band and his ability to bring people together. He goes into detail how he got turned on to real estate and had this drive to devour ever piece of knowledge he could. He then broke down for me why an investor is one of the most important pieces of the real estate puzzle. You need the money. The people, and the deal. If you have two of those. The other price will fall into place. I like his style of writing and his perspective.
After reading up on these real estate books I thought I had to be this master negotiator. This is when I stumbled upon Chris boss’s book while listening to bigger pockets podcasts. In his book, he talks about how he was working for the FBI and would work in different hostage situations. Truly inspiring. He then breaks down. His process and shows you how you can apply it to your everyday situations. There is so much information in this boom I’ll need to reread it several times until I feel I can master what this man knows.
The intention of an acorn is to produce an oak tree although you cannot see that tree. When it is planted and nurtured as it’s intended it will grow into an amazing Oak. This relates as we also have the power of intention for our own lives. Each thought is an intention that can grow into our desires and wildest dreams. The book talks about co-creating with God, meditation, gratitude, and ways create a better life for yourself by dwelling on your wildest dreams.
This book hits home for me. I feel that if I believe that God is real that I should put in his hands the money he has given me. For me that’s tithing, giving God my 10%. The book dives into the curse we place yourselves under when we don’t tithe, goal setting and, forgiveness. It shows how we can open ourselves up to the heavens pouring out in our lives and truly living out of abundance. Honestly before this book. I didn’t tithe and didn’t think it was something that was important. Now i’m eternally changed.
Long-Distance Real Estate Investing: How to Buy, Rehab, and Manage Out-of-State Rental Properties – David M Greene
For me, this book dives deep into the reasons why investing local is the same as investing near. It covers topics about building your team, ways to monitor and manage contractors. And everything else you want or need to know about real estate investing. You can find David Greene on bigger pockets podcast as he now has transitioned into co-hosting with his friend Brandon Turner.
I encourage you to comment if you’ve read any of the books above and share your thoughts. If there are those you haven’t please take time to read them, as I believe they will be as beneficial to you as they have been for me. Thank you.
